Jules Cluzel was involved in an incident with fellow rider Raffaele De Rosa at the last round of the World Supersport Championship in Aragon, which resulted in Cluzel suffering a broken tibia and fibula, therefore will miss the upcoming round at Catalunya.
The Huddersfield rider, Kyle Smith, is no stranger to the WorldSSP Class, having won three races, with seven podiums and one Superpole position which he got at Magny-Cours in 2019.
Smith is wishing Cluzel a speedy recovery as they know each other well with all the years they have both been in the Worldssp class, he is going to do his maximum to get the GMT 94 Yamaha on the podium at Catalunya.
Lucky for Smith he rode the Catalunya Circuit less than a month ago in the Spanish championship, so he will have knowledge of the best settings he prefers.
