Prima Pramac Ducati start their 2023 season campaign
The Pramac Racing Team have been one of the most consistent teams over the past seasons, scoring multiple podiums and a race win in the hands of Jorge Martin in 2021 and they keep their line-up of Johann Zarco and Jorge Martin for a third consecutive season.
Johann Zarco ended the first half of 2022 as the top Ducati in the standings, unfortunately the Frenchman was more inconsistent in the second half and finished eighth in the championship with four podiums.
After an impressive rookie season in 2021, Jorge Martin looked to be the favourite for the Factory Ducati seat alongside Francesco Bagnaia, however due to early season struggles with poor results and crashes he lost out on the ride to Enea Bastianini. The Martinator did score four podiums in 2022 and finished just behind Zarco in ninth place in the championship standings.
Pramac have also got a new team manager in Gino Borsoi who was the Team Aspar Sporting Director for 17 years. The Italian Team hope that Gino’s experience can help bring another step for the team to be even more competitive.
The team, the riders and the bike are capable of fighting for the championship and the sprint races could suit a rider like Martin who has an outstanding qualifying record with 30 poles in his career with nine of them being in MotoGP.
