MotoGP: Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Unveil Their 2023 RC16 The Austrian factory being their 2023 season.
By Jack Hammersley
The Red Bull Factory KTM Team have a new line-up for 2023; Brad Binder remains with the team for a four consecutive season with Miguel Oliveira leaving and being replaced by Jack Miller.
Brad Binder scored three podiums in 2023 and finished sixth in the championship standings. Brad had one of the fastest race paces during most of 2022, but qualifying looked to be the key weakness for KTM and couldn’t extract the most out of the soft rear tyre as other manufacturers could. If the South African can have consistently good qualifying performances he could be a title contender.
Jack Miller joins KTM from the Factory Lenovo Ducati Team and bring along with him his crew chief Cristhian Pupulin so with the knowledge they both have from the Bologna Factory they could help to improve the RC16 machine and make it a championship winning machine. The team finished second place in the teams’ standings in 2022 and will be looking to go one better this season. They have formed a new partnership with Mobil 1 and brought in new members to the team to try and improve their R&D.
