
WSBK: Toprak Razgatlioglu Wins Race One at Misano.

Toprak and Nicolo Bulega battle it out for the first victory of the weekend in Italy.
In a week that Toprak Razgatioglu signed a contract with Pramac Yamaha that will see the Turk fulfil his life-long ambition of racing in MotoGP in 2026, the BMW rider claimed his seventh win of the season to close in on Championship leader Nicolo Bulega.
Italian Bulega, finished in second place crossing the finish line one second behind Razgatioglu, in a week where the Italian has also secured his 2026 future re-signing with the Aruba Ducati team.
Danilo Petrucci took his fourth consecutive third place finish to claim “best of the rest” while Alex Lowes equalled his best result of the season for Bimota as he narrowly missed out on the Italian Manufacturer’s first World Superbike podium for 25 years. Lowes’ twin brother Sam finished in seventh place, just behind Yamaha’s Andrea Locatelli (5th) and former champion Alvaro Bautista (6th.)
Impressive rookie Yari Montella who has been linked with Aruba Ducati for 2026 equalled his best result of the season in 8th place, while Honda duo; Iker Lecuona and Xavi Vierge scored strong points in 9th and 11th.
Bonovo BMW, who were rumoured to not even be at Misano this weekend due to financial issues were rewarded for their perseverance with a 10th place finish by Scott Redding. Jonathan Rea, who is still being hampered by injury from crashes at the opening round of the season finished 12th infront of fellow Brit Ryan Vickers.
Garret Gerloff aboard the sole Kawasaki on the grid claimed his ninth point scoring ride of the season in 14th, with the final point going to the returning Michael Rinaldi who has replaced Tito Rabat at Motorx Racing Yamaha. The Petronas Honda pair of Tarran Mackenzie and Zaqhwan Zaidi completed the finishers in 16th & 17th.
Axel Bassani crashed out of second place on the opening lap losing his chance of a potential podium while, Andrea Iannone, Michael Van der Mark, Remy Gardner, Dominique Aegerter and Bahattin Sofuoglu all suffered retirements.
