The RICH Energy OMG Racing BMW Team have completed their rider line-up for the 2021 Season, with Brad Ray confirmed as their new-signing along side Kyle Ryde.

Essex Rider Bradley Ray has switched teams for the 2021 season, signing a deal with RICH Energy OMG Racing BMW. Ray was with the factory-backed TAS BMW Team for the 2020 season, so he comes into the new-team with a years experience on the S 1000 RR, Ray believes the new M 1000 RR will reinforce the weaker areas of which he struggled with in his 2020 season. He wants to be back at the sharp end fighting for podiums at every round.

Bradley one of the British Superbike’s talents started off his racing career off doing three seasons in the MotoGP paddock with the Red Bull Rookies series, he then returned to the British Paddock back in 2016 riding in the Supersport class where he finished third in the championship. Ray moved up to the Superbike class in 2017 joining Bulidbase Suzuki Team.

Im excited to be joining RICH Energy OMG Racing and getting to work on the new BMW M 1000 RR. They are a really welcoming team and ever since they came into the paddock, I’ve been a fan of the family atmosphere that they have. I want to be fighting for podiums regularly, and after sitting down with Paul and Alan I feel confident they’re investing in all the right places to give me evry chance to get back to where I know I can be.

RICH Energy OMG Racing Team Principal Paul Curran is very excited to announce that Brad will be joining the team for the 2021 season, with having a full year of experience on the S 1000 RR he will settle in quickly on the all-new M 1000 RR and can help Kyle in that regard as well.

He is a proven race-winner as is Kyle, and between the two of them we are expecting some great battles this season. With both riders working together, we are confident the team will take a leap forward in results and we can build on our first season with BMW machinery, where we outperformed the factory side.

RICH Energy OMG Racing Team owner Alan Gardner is delighted to welcome Bradley to the OMG Racing Team, he is a rider that the team have admired since he debuted in the series. He has an immense talent and absolutely has the potential to do great things on a superbike.

Whe you consider the calibre of our line-up this year, I think it’s fair to say that we’ve brought in two of the championship’s top prospects. They are both young and have the hunger to go out and battle at the front of a competitive field, but crucially they also both know what it’s like to stand on the top step. Hopefully our family-like team atmosphere will benefit them and we can look forward to greater success on the M 1000 R.
