
MotoGP: Marc Marquez To Miss Out On Round One At Qatar.

Marc Marquez Has Made The Decision Not To Take Part In Round One Of the Moto Grand Prix World Championship in Qatar.
Spanish eight-time World Championship rider Marc Marquez has made the decision not to take part in this weekends Round One of the MotoGP World Championship in Qatar. Marc has been advised by the doctors who operated on him that it would not be in his best interest to take part in the first race of the 2021 season.
Marc Marquez commented:
“After the last review with the medical team, the doctors have advised me that the most prudent thing was not to take part in the Qatar Grand Prix and to continue with the recovery plan that we have followed in recent weeks. I would have loved to be able to participate in the opening race of the World Championship, but we will have to continue working to be able to recover the optimal conditions that allow us to return to competition”.
Round One Of the Moto Grand Prix World Championship starts Friday 26th March at the Losail International Circuit of Qatar.
