York-based Rider Joey Thompson Makes The Step-up From Supersport And Signs With The NP Motorcycles Team.
York rider 23-year-old Joey Thompson has made the step-up from the GP2 Class to the British Superbike Class for his 2021 season campaign. Joey is a previous podium finisher at the North West 200 and a top five finisher at the Isle of Man TT. Joey is excited to have been given the chance to take part in the Superbike class and feels like it’s an opportunity of a life time!

I have been in and out of the BSB paddock for eight years now and to race in the premier class is a dream come true. I have no aims this season, I just look forward to building a strong relationship within the team, and to keep improving throughout the year.
Team Manager Neil Pearson is excited to have Joey join their team for the 2021 season and the team are looking forward to building a new relationship with him.
