Irish rider Keith Farmer has moved to the Morello-IMR powered by Cunnington Property Developments Kawasaki Team with just weeks to go until the 2021 season gets under-way. Keith will be riding in the Pirelli National Superstock Championship, as a former champion in the class he will be in the hunt for the 2021 championship title.
Morello-IMR and CPD have spent the past couple of seasons being rivals in the super competitive National Stock 1000 class. They have joined forces with Corby Kawasaki and long-term Morello sponsor Banhams WA (Australia) with the manager, Ian Moffitt.
Keith Farmer – Morello-IMR & CPD Kawasaki Team
“I would like to thank Steve, Ian, Chris, and the rest of the team for this opportunity – it’s always difficult to secure a competitive package in what is a fantastic championship to be part of. I cannot wait to go testing now and racing with the team they have put around me“. Thank you to my personal sponsors and I look forward to seeing everyone at BSB round one. #33”
Chris Cunnington – Cunnington Property Developments
“It had looked like we wouldn’t be racing in 2021 until we were approached by Steve and Ian to come onboard with them as title sponsor for the team in the championship with Keith Farmer. He is a very talented rider, who has had great success in the past. We are sure together we have every chance of further success in 2021″.
Steve Buckenham of Morello-IMR is excited to be pack in the paddock for the 2021 season, the team has come-together very fast and wouldn’t be able to compete in the Pirelli Superstock class if it wasn’t for the support of Chris at Cunnington Property Developments, Banhams WA, Corby Kawasaki and Ian Moffit, who have all done a great job putting the team together. The team have great confidence in Keith and they believe they have the right package to fight for the 2021 title.
We wish Keith and all the team the best of luck for their 2021 season in the Pirelli National Superstock Championship.
