MOTO3: Pedro Acosta in Q1 again As Stefano Nepa Leads The way.

By Matt Kirk
A Sunny Barcelona This Morning For FP3.
Stefano Nepa is the fastest rider of the weekend as Pedro Acosta has to go through Q1 again. Gabri Rodrigo looks fast this weekend. The Argentinian led most of the session on combined time.
Championship Leader Pedro Acosta was on the Q1 bubble for a lot of the session in 14th. He seems to be making a habit of blundering his way through the FP sessions then manages to get solid results in races, which is where it matters. His Red Bull KTM Ajo team-mate Jaume Masia was also struggling juts behind his team-mate.
As usual the final two minutes of FP3 were mad! There was a lot of dawdling on the out lap as usual so there may be a few penalties to follow.
Stefano Nepa ended the session on top ahead of Gabriel Rodrigo and Tatsuki Suzuki. The Turkish rider Deniz Oncu was a brilliant 4th ahead of Darryn Binder. Unfortunately, Binder lost his lap due to exceeding track limits so he has to go through Q1.
Q1 has a lot of strong riders in it, including Pedro Acosta (17th), Andrea Migno (15th) and John McPhee (19th).
Both qualifying sessions with be interesting watches this afternoon as Pedro Acosta again has to find his way out of Q1. Can he do it?
