
BSB: Ryan Vickers Ends Day One At Cadwell Park In The Top Spot.

RAF Regular & Reserve Kawasaki’s Ryan Vickers Leads The Way At The End Of Day One At Cadwell Park.
As the Second Free Practice Session of the day got under-way It was Peter Hickman who was leading the way, with Honda’s Glenn Irwin in second place and Kawasaki’s Ryan Vickers in third place.
Twelve minutes into the session Ducati’s Tommy Bridewell went first with just 0.065s between Bridewell and Hickman. At the half-way mark the front trio was the same, Builbase Suzuki’s Gino Rea was in 12th place, the last Q2 qualifying position. McAMS Yamaha’s Tarran Mackenzie had a bit of work to do as he was down in 14th place.
With five minutes remaining, Tarran Mackenzie suffered a crash whilst he was in 14th position, the Young Scot will have to go through Q1 tomorrow in qualifying. The front order changed with just two minutes to go, Hickman jumped back into first place with Jason O’Halloran in second place. That was short lived as Ryan Vickers charged into first place!
Ryan Vickers took the first place position in the combined standings, Jason O’Halloran was in second place, Hickman in third, Ducati’s Christian Iddon was fourth, Andrew Irwin, Glenn Irwin, Lee Jackson, Brad ray, Josh Brookes, Rory Skinner and Dan Linfoot have all made it through to Q2, Mackenzie was unable to get back out on track so he will have to go through Q1.


RAF & Regular Reserve Kawasaki’s Ryan Vickers set the fastest two-wheeled lap of Cadwell Park this afternoon, with a lap time of 1:25.816, the Thetford rider is edging closer to that podium finish, will he get his first Bennetts British Superbike win this weekend? Qualifying is tomorrow at 14:05
