Michael Dunlop Will Be Aboard PBM’s Ducati Panigale V4R At The 2022 Isle Of Man TT.
Michael Dunlop and Paul Bird originally made the agreement for Michael to ride for PBM back in 2020 before the Covid pandemic struck.
Dunlop will ride PBM’s Ducati Panigale V4R superbike at the TT and also at the North west 200. He will ride his own machinery in the Superstock and Supersport events. When the TT was last run back in 2019 Michael won the Lightweight TT, he is the third most successful rider to have raced at the famous Isle Of Man TT.
PBM last raced at the TT back in 2015 with Ian Hutchinson aboard their Kawasaki machinery, Ian won the the Superstock TT, scored a second place in the Superbike TT and a further third place in the Senior TT for the team.
Paul Bird – PBM
It will be the same bike as we are going to put out in this year’s BSB Superbike Championship, straight from the factory, and we are delighted that Michael is going to ride for us, He wouldn’t be on the bike if we, he or his sponsor Gary Ryan of Street Sweep, didn’t think he could do it. We’re very confident.
