I am really excited for the weekend. It’s the first round, the forecast looks great and I’m really looking forward to seeing how better Silverstone will be with more temperature and less wind as it was very difficult at the test.
It’s a great bit of confidence knowing that I have a bike that will be prepped to its absolute best, no corners cut with it with no expense spared. I am looking forward to seeing the boys again as its such a close, tight knit team and I am so excited to go racing. Knowing you have got a really good team and a really good bike to ride makes it even better.
I can’t wait to get going and to come out with maximum points is the aim. I have put in the work at home and I am ready to race!
Mar-Train Team Owner – Tim Martin
Testing went really well for us and hopefully we can continue that form on. There has been a lot of fast people out on track over the last three tests and we’ve fortunately been up there with them. Hopefully we can now transform our testing speed into such a race result.
There is no pressure on Jack he just needs to go out and do what he does, not try too hard and get comfortable on the bike and let the times come to him. We all know that he is well capable and in the many years he has rode Supersport he has a very cool head on him and doesn’t get too excited.
Let’s hope we can give him a package to fight with and we will be among the top Saturday and Sunday.
Round One Of The Bennetts British Superbike Championship starts 15/16/17 April at Silverstone.
