By Dawn Hammersley
Mar-Train Racing’s Jack Kennedy is determined to get back onto the top step of the podium this weekend at Round four of the British Superbike Championship at Knockhill Racing Circuit in Scotland.
Mar-Train Racing’s Jack Kennedy is eager to get back to winning aways as the 2022 Bennetts British Superbike Championship resumes this weekend at Knockhill Race Circuit in Scotland.
The reigning British Supersport Champion had a positive two-day test at the Fife circuit earlier this month where he recorded fastest laps and a good race pace.
The Dubliner is currently more than 40 points clear at the top of the British Supersport Championship leaderboard going into the weekend and is determined to get back onto the top step of the podium following two second positions at Donington Park.
Practice for Round four takes place on Friday with Bennetts Ebay Sprint race on Saturday evening and Feature Race Sunday.
Jack Kennedy – Mar-Train Racing
I’m really excited to get back racing, it seems like a long time since we were last out at Donington and I’m hungry to get back to winning ways. We had a strong test at Knockhill a few weeks back, where everything went well in terms of finding the right set-up and a strong race pace.
The forecast looks good for the weekend, but we will be ready no matter what the conditions, as I have some good results around Knockhill in the wet as well.
I’m looking forward to getting back to working with the team, as the atmosphere in the garage is always amazing. We want to get back to winning ways after we missed out at Donington Park and go into the next break with an extended lead in the Championship.
Tim Martin – Team Owner
We are all set for Round 4 this weekend at Knockhill – we had a good test here earlier this month. It has been a while since the last round at Donington and we are ready.
We are happy that we have a good base setting, and we will work hard to ensure Jack is comfortable and fast on the bike over the weekend and fingers crossed we will be sitting at the top of the leader board.
