Jack Kennedy Aiming For Podium Success At Thruxton.
Mar-Train Racing and Jack Kennedy are ready to get back to business as they head into Round six of the 2022 Bennetts British Superbike Championship this weekend at Thruxton circuit in Hampshire.
As the series hits its halfway point, the Dubliner is eager to get going at the fastest circuit on the BSB calendar in what looks to be a scorching weekend ahead.
Following a successful Round five at Brands Hatch the team are heading into the weekend with a comfortable 78-point lead advantage ahead of Colin Appleyard’s, Harry Truelove where Jack will be aiming to widen the points margin further.

Preparations are going really well for the weekend, we are putting the hours of work in at home. We have a full weekend ahead of us at Thruxton of 30 plus degrees everyday and in a strange way, I am sort of looking forward to the challenge of the higher temperatures and how hot it’s going to be and to see how everyone is going to perform.
I know I will be able for it because it’s nothing I haven’t experienced before with racing in the World Championship etc.
Thruxton is a track I really like and I’m really looking forward to riding the Mar-Train R6 there and seeing how we get on. I know the team have given me a great bike and I can’t wait to get there, see the team and ride the R6 in the sunshine.
Tim Martin – Team Owner
Thruxton is an old school track that is the fastest in the UK. It makes for close racing – with the slip stream effect, you can go from first position to sixth in the blink of an eye. As usual the team have prepared in the usual way, putting every focus on the bike and preparing to be ready to come out swinging in FP1.
The weather looks hot this weekend so will make a great weekend for the fans and team alike.
