SSP: Eyes On The Prize For Mar-Train Racing And Jack Kennedy At Cadwell Park.

Mar-Train Racing’s Jack Kennedy is looking to further extend his advantage as Round seven of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship returns to Cadwell Park this weekend.

Returning on its traditional bank holiday weekend, Cadwell Park is a circuit where both Mar-Train Racing team and the reigning Supersport Champion are determined to finish on the top step of the podium.

Following on from a successful double win at Thruxton, the Dubliner is ready and raring to go this bank holiday weekend at the famous Party in the Park circuit in Louth.

Training and preparations have been going well – I’m really looking forward to Cadwell. We were strong there last year on the Kawasaki, so I can’t wait to see what we can do on the R6.

Last year at Cadwell I got a second-place finish in the sprint race, and I crashed out in race two, and Mar-Train Racing haven’t had a win there yet either. So, we are determined to make sure we go out there this weekend and get those wins and extend our championship lead even further.

Cadwell Park is famous for it’s BSB weekends and Jack has had some great results around this exciting track. Historically, it hasn’t been a great track for the team, with a podium finish our best result to date.

As usual there will be some Cadwell specialists that will be going for the top step this weekend, but the team will be fully focused to ensure we give Jack the best package available, and we will see where we end up in Sunday and Monday’s races.

Practice for Round seven takes place on Saturday with the first Quattro Plant race on Sunday evening and second race Monday.

Free Practice 1: 9.40am
Free Practice 2: 13.40pm

SUNDAY

Qualifying: 11.35am
Race 1: 15.40pm

MONDAY

Warm-up: 10.25am
Feature Race: 15.30pm
