
BSB: Tommy Bridewell Wins Race Three at Cadwell Park.

Tommy Bridewell wins race three just ahead of his team-mate Glenn Irwin.
For the final installment of Bennetts British Superbike action from Cadwell Park, Leon Haslam was on pole position, Kyle Ryde lined-up in second place, with Lee Jackson rounding out the front row. LAMI OMG Racing’s Ryan Vickers was declared unfit to race due to a wrist injury he sustained from his crash in Race Two.
Storm Stacey got the holeshot into turn one, Leon Haslam took the lead a few corners later. Kyle Ryde was putting Storm under pressure for second place.
Double race winner Glenn Irwin was in fourth place setting his sights on Storm. Tommy Bridewell was in fifth place stalking his team-mate Irwin. Glenn made his way into third place on lap three, Haslam was still leading the race from Ryde.
Kyle made his move at the Hairpin for the lead on lap six, Glenn was now in second place. Bridewell moved up to third place, Haslam was pushed back to fourth place, Storm was holding on to fifth place.
FHO Racing’s Josh Brookes was losing touch with the leading group in ninth, Charlie Nesbitt crashed out at the Mountain. Glenn took control of the race on lap eight, Bridewell passed Ryde on the start finish straight. Kyle lost a bit of momentum and was pushed back to fourth place.
With five laps to go Kyle had regrouped and was catching the leading trio, Jason O’Halloran was the fastest man on track.
Bridewell took the lead with just two laps remaining to the race, Glenn just couldn’t find a place to pass his team-mate! Tommy crossed the finish line to take the win, Glenn was second, Leon Haslam finished in third place, Kyle was fourth and Lee Jackson was fifth.
