2023 marks his first season back racing full-time, and he is currently third in the BSB Supersport standings with the Macadam Racing Yamaha team. The BSB season concludes at Brands Hatch on 13-15 October, with round six of ASBK taking place at Phillip Island between 27-29 October.
Tom Toparis
After the last few years away from racing with my injured arm, I’m happy to say that I’ll be back racing in Australia when it resumes in a few weeks time down at The Island. I’ll be partnered once again with my original Cube Racing Team which is something I’m really happy about. Big thank you to Robbie Bolger, the main man pulling it all together behind the scenes. Let’s have some fun!
It feels like forever since I’ve raced at home, After I won my last Supersport championship, there’s been a lot happen, with surgeries and racing in Europe and the UK, so to go to the track purely to just to have fun, see some familiar faces and help out the team a little with some setup, I’m really looking forward to the opportunity, with no pressure riding another Cube [Performance Centre] R6.
Toparis joins impressive Supersport rookie Hayden Nelson in the team’s line-up, the Morgan Park pole-setter was officially announced as part of the team last week.
