
BTC: Mortimer Racing Victoria House Academy Announce 2024 Re-Branded Rider Line-Up.

Mortimer Racing and SENCAT LTD join forces for the 2024 R&G British Talent Cup season and their first season in the Spanish MIR Finetwork Championship.
Victoria House Mortimer Racing has a new rider line up and re-branded team for the 2024 season, joining forces with SENCAT LTD to become SENCAT Talent Team – Mortimer Racing, competing in the R&G British Talent Cup with young gun Charlie Barnes, Northern Irishman Alexander Rowan & 2023 title challenger Lucas Brown.
The new team is also very proud to be competing in the Spanish MIR Finetwork cup with young Scottish talent Charlie Cunningham.
Team owner Rich Mortimer commented:
“I’m thrilled to announce this very competitive rider line up for 2024, with new Honda NSF machinery and all new infrastructure in place. I’d like to thank Chris Barnes for his help in making this happen, and a big thanks to crew chief Keith Taylor, Chris Rowan, Mervyn Richmond (Butch), Jim Cunningham and Leigh Brown for their trust and loyalty in me. We are now all fully focused on building for the opening round of the BSB season at Circuito de Navarra Spain.”
Lucas Brown had a very strong second half of the 2023 R&G British Talent Cup Championship, his aim for the 2024 season is to win the title. 2024 will be Alexander Rowan’s fourth consecutive season with the team, the young Northern Irish rider will aiming for podium finishes throughout the year. This will be Charlie Barnes second year in the BTC, his aim for 2024 is to be in the mix and be a stronger contender this season.
Young Scottish rider Charlie Cunningham is making his first appearance in the Spanish MIR Finetwork Championship and will also be riding in selected rounds of the FIM MiniGP UK 160 Championship. Charlie has been in the Victoria House Academy since 2022, he will be eligible for the BTC in 2025.
