BTC: The R&G British Talent Cup Heads to the Famous Northampton Venue of Silverstone for Rounds 10 & 11.

All eyes are on the R&G British Talent Cup teenagers as they travel to Silverstone, as support races for the British round of the 2024 MotoGP Championship.

With nine races remaining and 225 points left on the table Lucas Brown (SENCAT Talent Team- Mortimer Racing) tops the current R&G BTC points table by 22 points. The consistent Brown will be looking to out fox rival Amanuel Brinton (RS Racing) in this fascinating duel on the Silverstone GP circuit which is suited to the 2023 race two winner Brinton with his immaculate tucked in style. Can Brown handle the pressure? – He scored two third place podiums in this event last year.
We can`t rule out Ryan Frost (Fibre-Tec Honda), fresh from his Brands Hatch success, Julian Correa now settled in at Wilson Racing and now back on pace or Harley McCabe (McCabe Racing) who stepped on the Monster Energy podium 2023. Filip Surowiak (RS Racing) who was with the leading pack last year and new kid on the block Harrison Mackay who is the Shortshift News hot tip for his first podium at this event.
Ollie Walker will also be one to watch, the Somerset youngster took two top six positions here in 2023. The Silverstone circuit will suit the style of top rookie Mason Foster (BRP Racing) on his first visit to this venue, the 14-year-old from Norfolk will be looking to add to his current point’s tally of 54 points.
So the stage is set for this incredible 2024 group of young motorcycle talent at British motorcycling’s most prestigious event …… let the battle commence!
