The four Red Bull KTMs show they’re ready for 2025.

Pedro Acosta after a great rookie season taking five Grand Prix podiums with a best finish of second will join the Factory Racing Team from Tech3. The Shark will have the Jaws music playing as set his sights on taking his first MotoGP victory after being so close to it at the Japanese Grand Prix.

Brad Binder remains with the Austrian outfit for his sixth season in the class. The South African was the last rider to win a race on the RC16 when he won the Tissot Sprint at Jerez in 2023. The 2016 Moto 3 World Champion had a tough 2024 despite finishing fifth in the standings and top non-Ducati. He only took one podium which was at the season opener in Qatar and suffered the most of crashes he’s had in a season. The number 33 aims to return to podium form and remain the number one rider for the Austrian Manufacturer.

Enea Bastianini had a strong 2024 taking two Grand Prix victories at the British and Emilia Romagna Grand Prix’s as well as the Tissot Sprint at Silverstone and Chang International Circuit. 2025 will be the first season that The Beast doesn’t ride a Ducati having done so since his debut in the class in 2021. One of Bastianini’s biggest strengths over the past few seasons has been his tyre wear saving, last season it was very rare for the 2020 Moto 2 World Champion not to be the fastest on track in the second half of races so eyes will be looking to see whether this translates onto the RC16.

The Tech3 Team will change brands for 2025 returning to KTM after two seasons as the official GasGas Factory Team. The French team have signed two new riders for this season: Maveric Viñales and Enea Bastianini.

This will be the first season where Viñales isn’t a part of a factory team, although all 4 riders will receive factory support. KTM is the fourth manufacturer for the 2013 Moto 3 World Champion having ridden for Suzuki, Yamaha and Aprilia. Top Gun was the first rider in the MotoGP era to take victories on three manufacturers last season with his win at the American Grand Prix and this season he can be the first to win a Grand Prix on a fourth different manufacturer.

KTM have had a tough winter after going into self-administration, but they’ve received a lot of support and go into the 2025 season with the same goal they’ve had since joining the series in 2017: win the MotoGP World Championship. With their riders for 2025, it’s hard to argue that this is the factory’s strongest lineup yet.
