BSB: Refreshed and Ready: McAMS Racing Target Bounce-Back at Snetterton.

By Dawn Hammersley
McAMS Racing all geared up for Round Three of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship.
After a four week break since Round 2 of the 2025 Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Donington Park, McAMS Racing and Danny Kent look forward to arriving at Snetterton this weekend, in the hope of getting some valuable points on the board and resuming position at the front of the field.
The opening two rounds of the 2025 season have been challenge-enduring for Kent and the Mar-Train-run team, who currently sit seventh in the standings with a best place finish of sixth at Oulton Park. Despite the early-season struggles under the family-run stable, the Yamaha-powered outfit are returning to hopeful territory as the series heads to Snetterton – a track which has historically been known to suit the features of the R1 superbike.
The team’s visit to the Norwich-based venue in 2024 saw them walk away with a best finish of fourth in the final race of the weekend, after fighting at the front throughout all three races to the chequered flag.
During the off period since Round 2 at Donington Park, Kent and the crew took to the tarmac for a worthwhile test at Ireland’s Kirkistown Racing Circuit, testing several new components in the search for an improved feeling aboard the R1 superbike. With a direction found, the team are approaching Snetterton with their target set on bouncing back from early-season struggles and aiming to get back to achieving spots at the sharp end of the pack.
After a few weeks to reset and recoup, the squad are heading towards this weekend with optimistic attitudes for a fruitful triple-header, which will kick off with Free Practice 1 this Friday (20th) at 1pm.
Danny KentMcAMS Racing, Rider “I’m really looking forward to getting back on track at Snetterton this weekend. It’s felt like a long break since Donington, and after taking some time to reflect and carry out some productive testing following a few challenges in the opening rounds, both the team and I are eager to get going again. Snetterton has been a strong circuit for me in the past, we were fighting at the front there last year, so we’re heading into the weekend feeling positive and optimistic.”
Tim Martin
McAMS Racing, Team Owner “We’re looking forward to getting back to racing at Snetterton this weekend. It’s been a valuable few weeks since Donington, giving us time to regroup and put in some solid work behind the scenes. We had a productive test at Kirkistown, which allowed us to fine-tune a few areas and build confidence heading into this next round. The team has responded well to the early-season challenges, and we feel ready to push for some strong results. Snetterton has been a good track for us in the past, so we’re optimistic about what we can achieve this weekend.”
