McAMS Racing Yamaha Determined to end the weekend on a stronger note.
Round 3 of the 2025 Bennetts British Superbike Championship saw McAMS Racing and Danny Kent return to action at Snetterton, marking the next chapter in their 2025 campaign with a return to Norwich.
The Norfolk circuit brought its fair share of challenges for the McAMS-backed squad, starting with a tough Friday where the team narrowly secured a place in Q2, finishing a combined P10 in the opening sessions.
Saturday brought soaring temperatures and another test for rider, Kent. He finished Free Practice 3 in P14 before placing his Yamaha R1 on the third row of the grid ahead of Race 1 in Qualifying.
In Saturday’s opening race, Kent delivered a spirited ride, carving his way through the pack to finish sixth – a well-earned result that gave the team valuable momentum heading into Sunday.
However, Race 2 on Sunday proved more difficult. Launching from P10, Kent struggled to find a comfortable rhythm aboard the R1 and slipped back to P13 by the chequered flag – still managing to salvage a handful of points.
Determined to end the weekend on a stronger note, the team made key setup changes ahead of the final race. Kent responded with a measured ride, steadily picking off competitors to secure a P7 finish, his second-best result of the round.
It was a weekend marked by adversity, but also by grit and perseverance. Kent and the McAMS Racing team left nothing on the table, pushing to the final lap in pursuit of progress.
As the series heads north to Knockhill in two weeks’ time, Kent holds eighth place in the championship standings with eyes firmly set on climbing the order.
Danny KentMcAMS Racing, Rider “The weekend didn’t begin the way we wanted, but we made good steps forward. I felt stronger on the bike and the results reflect that. A P6, P13 and P7 finish aren’t where we ultimately want to be, but we’re making progress every time we go out. Big thanks to the team – we’ll come back fighting at Knockhill.”
Tim MartinMcAMS Racing,Team Owner “It was a tough start to the weekend, but I’m proud of how the whole team pulled together. The results showed the resilience and determination we’ve been building. We know where we need to improve, but we’re definitely heading in the right direction. We’ll keep pushing.”
