Injury rules out Dominique Aegerter for round Eleven.
Dominique Aegerter will sit out of Round 11 of the 2025 FIM Superbike World Championship at Autódromo do Estoril this weekend after sustaining a hand injury in a training accident earlier this week.
The GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK rider has broken the fifth metacarpal in his right hand and will undergo surgery on the injury on Thursday.
Aegerter will not be replaced for the weekend, with the GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team running only Remy Gardner at Estoril.
Dominique Aegerter: “I am devastated to be missing Estoril; I was more than ready to go and looking forward riding there a lot. I am sorry for my team, all the fans and my sponsors and I will look to come back stronger.”
