Bulega is unstoppable once again as the race was Red Flagged due to track air fencing safety

For the final racing installment at Magny-Cours Nicolo Bulega was on pole position, Iker Lecuona lined-up in second place, Yari Montella rounded out the front row of the grid.

Bulega got the perfect start, leading the pack into turn one. Lecuona was just losing touch with his team-mate in the opening two laps.

Tommy Bridewell was running in sixth place, just behind Alex Lowes. Andrea Locatelli crashed out at the final chicane, not a good round for the Italian Yamaha rider.

Alberto Surra was in third place, with Yari Montella for company. Sam Lowes was down in 14th place after starting in tenth place on the grid.

Montella made a sharp move on Surra for third place and made it stick. Alex Lowes was putting Surra under pressure for fourth place. Alex’s team-mate Axel Bassani was in a battle with Jake Dixon for 12th place.

Bulega was 2.7 seconds ahead of Lecuona with 13 laps to go. Alex crashed out at the Adelaide Hairpin, just as Dixon crashed out at turn 13! Alex rejoined the race.

Alvaro Bautista was making progress in the latter stage of the race running in seventh place. Sam Lowes was still running outside the top ten in 12th place.

Lorenzo Baldassarri was battling with Surra for fourth place, Baldassarri needs a good result to keep his seat for the 2027 season! Bridewell was coming under pressure from Bautista for the sixth place position, could the Brit hold on for just five more laps?

Stefano Manzi crashed out at turn five with four laps to go. Bridewell crashed out at Estoril Corner, he was up and ok, the crash brought out the Red Flag.

Bulega took the victory, Lecuona was second, Montella was third, Baldassarri was fourth, Surra finished in fifth place.

Bulega can wrap his 2026 season campaign up at the next round at Cremona.
