Bulega set a blistering hot pace in the Superpole Race to take his twenty fifth victory of the 2026 season.

Aruba.It Racing’s championship leader Nicolo Bulega was on pole position for the Tissot Superpole Race, joining Bulega on the front row of the grid was ELF Marc VDS Racing’s Sam Lowes and Bulega’s team-mate Iker Lecuona.

Lights out at the French circuit, Bulega lead the WSBK field into turn one. Lecuona passed Lowes for second place, then the Spaniard went on to pass Bulega to lead the race.

Britain’s Jake Dixon made up a few places running in ninth place, fellow Brit Tommy Bridewell was in seventh place.

The two Aruba.It riders were breaking away from the rest of the field, Sam was trying his best to keep up with the leading duo!

Bulega put the pressure on and Lecuona was demoted to second place, Lowes took advantage of the move and took second place.

Lecuona wasted no time trying to regain second place by overtaking Sam at turn 12 and making the move stick with Sam unable to respond.

Bulega’s pace was faster than Toprak Razgatlioglu in last year’s Superpole qualifying at Magny-Cours! His lead was now over two seconds from Lecuona.

The heat was on further down the field, Remy Gardner, Lorenzo Baldassarri and Andrea Locatelli were fighting for ninth place.

Dixon ran off the circuit at turn 15 with four laps remaining in the race, putting the Honda rider down 16th place.

Disaster for Sam as he crashed out at turn three on the final lap! Yari Montella was promoted to third place.

Bulega crossed the finish line to take yet another victory, Lecuona was second Montella was third, Alberto Surra was fourth, with Alex Lowes finishing in fifth place.
