WorldSBK: More races axed ahead of season restart

By Short Shift News
World Superbike have announced that the British, Dutch and Qatari rounds of the championship will not take place.
Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, the British round at Donington Park, the Dutch round at the iconic Assen circuit and the Qatari round at the floodlit Losail International Circuit has been cancelled.
Originally, these rounds were delayed but despite best efforts from the championship and circuits, organisers have been forced to cancel these rounds.
World Superbike returns on August 1-2 at the Jerez circuit for round two of the season before heading to Portugal and a triple-header in Spain with two rounds at Aragon and one at Catalunya, which joins the calendar in 2020.
WorldSBK then head to Magny-Cours in October before flying to Argentina and wrapping the season up at Misano on 6-8 November.
