Following yesterday’s practice session, Cal Crutchlow has been declared unfit ahead of Saturday’s on track action.
The Coventry born rider underwent an operation at the start of the week and has since struggled with excessive fluid build up resulting in his swelling to the size of an average human’s leg. Not only that, Crutchlow says that under the bandage the muscle is visible.
The LCR Honda CASTROL rider believed he had more in the locker after running yesterday’s free practice two session on a used tyre, therefore ended the day in 19th overall.
Crutchlow now has six days to rest before MotoGP gets back on track for free practice one for the second weekend at Misano.
