Isle Of Man TT winner and Former runner up in British Superstock 1000, Yorkshire’s Ian Hutchinson is set to replace Brad Ray after Brad suffered a leg injury in free practice one.
Synetic BMW’s Brad Ray crashed at the Melbourne Loop at the Donnington Circuit, he was on his fourth lap when the crash happened, Ray was taken straight to the medical centre which resulted in a leg injury.
41-year-old Ian Hutchinson was at Donnington Park to take part in this weekend’s Superstock 1000 Class, but now he will have to go on board the BMW superbike, he last rode in the British Superbike Class at Assen in 2016. How will he deal with electronics since the Superstock bikes have traction control whereas the Superbikes don’t, can he use his experience to over come the changes?
