MotoGP: VR46 Academy set for Portimao Test

By Short Shift News
Valentino Rossi and his VR46 Academy will take to the Portimao circuit this week, with a two-day private test taking place on 3-4 of February.
MotoGP riders will have to wait until the official test in March before they can throw their legs over prototype Grand Prix machines, but Valentino Rossi and his VR46 Academy will get some track action this week aboard their road bikes.
Petronas Yamaha SRT rider, Rossi and his protégés will take to the Algarve International Circuit as they get bike fit ahead of the Qatar test, taking place on 6th March 2021.
2021 Petronas team-mate Franco Morbidelli will join Rossi, who will share the track with Ducati Team’s Francesco Bagnaia and premier class rookie Luca Marini (SKY VR46 Avintia Team) and will all be using machinery in line with their respective teams. They will be joined by Moto2 SKY Racing VR46 duo Marco Bezzecchi, Celestino Vietti, Stefano Manzi and Andrea Migno.
MotoGP will return to Portimao for its second visit to the circuit on April 18th.
