F1: AlphaTauri pull the covers off their 2021 car

By Short Shift News
AlphaTauri has revealed their latest car in which Pierre Gasly and young-gun Yuki Tsunoda will drive in the 2021 Formula One World Championship.
AlphaTauri have officially pulled the covers off the AT02 as they look to further improve their midfield strength.
The Red Bull Junior Team enjoyed a reasonably strong 2020, with Pierre Gasly and Daniil Kvyat finishing 10th and 14th in the overall standings. The Frenchman also claimed the teams first win in 12-years, after a sensational Italian Grand Prix in Monza. For 2021, however, Gasly will be partnered with upcoming Japanese star Yuki Tsunoda.
The duo revealed the all-new AT02, which features changes to its nose and suspension and a fairly radical colour change – with the iconic dark blue the more predominant colour.
The former Toro Rosso team aims to improve on their consistency following their seventh-place championship finish in 2020, which was one place lower than 2019 but did pick up more points in the shortened season.
The AT02 has undergone slight changes, a slimmer nose brings it in line with its rivals, whilst gearbox and suspension improvements have also been made. Of course, with the current rules, F1 teams must stick to a ‘revised 2020 chassis’, but have been given two upgrade ‘tokens’ to further improve two other key areas.

F1 action gets underway in Bahrain, with a three-day test taking place across the 12th – 14th March, ahead of lights out in Sakhir on March 28th.
