F1: Alfa Romeo reveal changed 2021 car

By Short Shift News
Kimi Räikkönen and Antonio Giovinazzi, joined by reserve driver Robert Kubica, have a fairly revised livery for 2021, as Alfa Romeo officially unveiled their 2021 car.
At a launch event in Poland, Alfa Romeo officially revealed their 2021 car, which sees the red-and-white colour scheme remain, albeit slightly revised.
After a difficult 2020 season, Räikkönen and Giovinazzi are optimistic of a better season ahead after their underpowered Ferrari engine left them in a battle at the rear of the grid with the fellow Ferrari-powered Haas F1 Team and Williams.
The Finnish driver heads into his 19th year of Formula One. At 41-years-old, Räikkönen was convinced to sign an extension with the team, despite finishing 2020 in a lowly 16th place.
He’s joined once again by Italian Giovinazzi, who has showed promising signs despite the car not being ‘up-to-scratch’.
With their unchanged line-up, Alfa believes its drivers can secure strong midfield results if they have the required machinery.
The C41 features a changed front nose, however, the majority of the car shares parts with the C39 of 2020.
Fred Vasseur – Alfa Romeo Team Principal
“I think the most important thing for a racing team is to try to always improve.
“Honestly, we want to improve, all the team is motivated by the same target and we have to, step by step, come back to the top of the midfield. We know that it’s a long path but we are working on it and we are improving step by step.”
