Due to high track temperatures, wind and dust on the track, none of the riders were able to improve their free practice two times

Raul Fernandez made the most of the cooler Free Practice Two session setting the fastest time of the last two rounds and looks to be a favourite for pole position. Fabio Di Giannantonio showed strong pace in the free practice two session, ending the combined standings in second place and looks to be a contender for the win on Sunday. Remy Gardner rounded out the top three, continuing his great run of form from last weekend and will be looking to get a good grid position to fight for his first victory of the season.

Marco Bezzecchi ended the combined free practice sessions in fourth place, keeping up the momentum from last weekend, Marco will be looking to make the final adjustments to improve the race pace to fight for the win tomorrow. Rounding out the top five is Joe Roberts, the American is consistently showing good pace and looks to be a podium contender on Sunday, he’ll just need to have a good qualifying to give him the best chance possible.

Ai Ogura made an impressive step during the second weekend at the Losail International Circuit, finishing in sixth position in the combined standings; Ai will be looking to repeat this performance as he looks to improve on his 17th position in the race. Last weeks winner Sam Lowes spent all the sessions working on race pace to improve on his feeling at the first half of the race, the Brit will be looking to take a second consecutive pole position.

Sam Lowes’s compatriot Jake Dixon has unable to make it into the top fourteen, struggling to find the pace that he had last week and will have to go through Q1; joining him will be his team-mate Xavi Vierge who was also unable to get into Q2, so the Petronas Sprinta Racing Team will be looking to work together in a better way than last week to get each other into Q2.

Rookie Celestino Vietti worked with his team-mate Marco Bezzecchi during the Free Practice Two session and was able to put in lap time good enough to put him in eighth position and will be looking to improve on his qualifying position of tenth from last week. His fellow rookie Cameron Beaubier put in a surprising performance last week and at the end of Free Practice Two was able to get into fourteenth position, so the American will be achieving his best qualifying position.

Q1 and Q2 will take place at 18:25 and 18:50 (GMT+3) later on today, who will be taking the pole position spot?
