Peter Hickman Announces He Will Remain With The FHO Racing Team For The 2022 Season.
Showdown and Championship Title contender Louth rider Peter Hickman has announced he will be staying with The FHO Racing Team for the 2022 Bennetts British Superbike Season. Peter has had a very successful 2021 season with the BMW FHO Racing Team, claiming two victories and a further three podium finishes so far this season. Peter is still in contention to win the 2021 Championship this weekend at Brands Hatch.
FHO Racing was an all-new Racing Team for the 2021 season, the partnership of Peter Hickman and FHO Racing have been a formidable combination during their debut season together aboard the all-new BMW M 1000 RR.
Peter Hichman – FHO Racing
“I am obviously really excited about next year and it is great to know I am staying with the FHO Racing BMW team. It is a fantastic team to work with, the crew all work really together, which is awesome and so to have continuity with another year is great news.
“We will only get stronger and we are always learning, especially with the new BMW M 1000 RR. It has been working well this season and so to have the momentum to continue developing and moving forward is fantastic. We can really hit the ground running next year and have a proper crack at the championship.
“This is the first time I have come into the final round with a mathematical chance of even winning the title, so this has been my strongest year in BSB. Although I finished fourth overall in 2017, I feel that this has been my strongest year as the championship gets harder and harder because of the competition, but for sure, this has been my strongest. We have had a bit of bad luck this year at times but we have lots to look forward to next year and we can’t wait.”
Faye Ho – FHO Racing Team Owner
I am happy to announce that Peter is the first rider to be confirmed in the FHO Racing BMW line up for next season. We have achieved a lot together in our first year, and I am proud of what we have accomplished with a new team and new bike in what was a completely new challenge.
“I feel that now that we have the experience of this year, we can spend the winter building to make a stronger championship in 2022, and together we will be aiming for even more success. I am really motivated to keep this momentum going as a team as we strive for even more in our second year.”

We wish Peter and the FHO Racing all the best for the final round of the Bennetts British Superbikes!
