BTC: Amanuel Brinton To Compete In Two Wildcard Rides In The Honda British Talent Cup With Mortimer Racing Victoria House Academy.

European Talent Cup Rider Amanuel Brinton To Make His First Appearance In The Honda British Talent Cup At Brands Hatch And Thruxton.
13-year-old Amanuel Brinton from Suffolk will make his first appearance riding in the Honda British Talent Cup. Amanuel known as ‘Manny’ is competing in two wildcard rides; Brands Hatch on the 22-24 July and at Thruxton on 12-14 August. Amanuel will be racing with Bolton based Mortimer Racing Victoria House Academy. He will be ridinging along-side Mortimer Racing’s current Honda British Talent Cup riders Alexander Rowan And Olly Horner.
Amanuel is currently competing in the Hawkers European Talent Cup, riding for the prestigious Team Estrella Galicia 0,0. Rich Mortimer team owner of Mortimer Racing Victoria House academy has been following Amanuel’s achievement’s for some time and is impressed on how well the young Suffolk rider has adapted to riding in the European Talent Cup. He is currently in tenth place in the European Talent Cup championship standings.
Amanuel has always been fascinated with life on two wheels and started racing BMX at the age of five. However, even at a young age there was always a desire to jump onto something with a little more horsepower, so at the age of six he convinced the family to finally let him have a go at minibike racing. After a few steady laps and a quick coaching session, Amanuel’s lap times started to drop and he caught the eye of one of the Scott Redding Race School instructors who suggested he might want to try competing at a national level.
Amanuel started racing in the Cool FAB Rookie class in 2015 and finished the season third, which led to a factory ride with Minimoto manufacturer, Blata, for the following season. Having competed in each season of COOL FAB racing since then, he has progressed through the classes whilst taking many podiums and race wins.
Amanuel is now relishing being part of the European Talent Cup Championship, 2022 has started very promising with Amanuel finishing inside the top ten and always being at the sharp end of the international races, He had a best place finish of sixth in his last race at Jerez, just 0.3 seconds off the winner.
