The 2022 Triple Crown Champions start their 2023 season campaign.
The Bologna won every title there was to win in MotoGP in 2022, winning the riders, teams and constructors titles.
After 15 years since Casey Stoner lifted the teams only championship, Francescco Bagnaia pulled off one of the greatest comebacks in sporting history, coming back from a 91-point deficit to win the title in the final round of the season.
Pecco took seven wins and a further three podiums to lift the title, but the VR46 Academy rider did also suffer five non-finishes, and this will be the key area to work on to defend his crown for 2023. The Torino rider has also chosen to run the number one for his title defending season, he will be hoping to be the first rider to defending the number one plate since Mick Doohan in 1998.
‘The Beast’ Enea Bastianini makes it an all-Italian line-up for this season with Jack Miller moving to Red Bull KTM. Enea was one of the surprise packages of 2022, winning the opening round of the season on the Gresini GP21 Ducati and taking a further three more victories and finishing the season in third place.
