Talentum Motorsport By Azure Notions have an all-new rider line-up for the 2023 R&G British Talent Cup championship. Ryan Frost has joined the team for his first ever season in the championship, it’s fare to say the young rider has settled well into the fast paced class of BTC.
Was Round One at Silverstone everything you expected it to be?
Well we were hoping for a little bit more, we started from 15th in race one at Silverstone so we were trying to work it up a bit more to the front obviously it got cut short due to an accident, Race Two got cut short again because of a bike failure, we are coming into this round with high hopes, so we have two races to do and see what happens.

Have you raced at Donington Park before?
Never, this is my first time here, so I was quite happy to see P3, we were very excited!

How do you feel Friday’s Free Practice sessions have gone for you?
Yesterday was a pretty good day, we started off the first session with P3 three again, and then P5 in the second session, so we got our hopes up a little bit but I didn’t want to get it up too much as then it makes you worse, we have had some good qualifying, we are just waiting for the races now.

How much are you learning session by session?
Quite a lot to be fair, it’s hard to learn off people when there is a massive gap between the experience, this is only my second time racing the bike, so I’m still learning bit by bit, never done any of these tracks before so yeah, it’s quite hard but it’s all good.

Do you feel as though you could get a podium finish in your first rookie season?
We will try but I don’t want to say yes or no, I don’t want to make myself look like an idiot but yes, we will see.

If you could pick a song to do a Superpole lap to what would be your choice of music?
To be fair I couldn’t really tell you, I’ve got a few to pick from I really don’t know.

Ryan had a very solid round at Donington Park; getting inside the top ten for both races, he is currently in tenth place in the championship standings, a very impressive start for the Spanish based rookie.
