By Luke Newman

Former factory Ducati rider, Michael Ruben Rinaldi, finished the second race of the season in ninth place overall, securing the final point of the race.
British riders Jonathan Rea, Scott Redding, Bradley Ray and Tarran Mackenzie found themselves outside of the points on Sunday morning. Rea finished in tenth place, a better showing than his 17th place in the opening race of the season. However, Scott Redding did find himself down in 17th as the lowest BMW rider in the race. Bradley Ray finished in 21st place after a crash early on in the race and Tarran Mackenzie did not finish.
