MotoGP: Pertamina Enduro VR46 Display Their 2025 Livery
By Jack Hammersley
The team from Tavullia reveal their 2025 colours with their all-Italian lineup.
VR46 enter their fifth season in the MotoGP World Championship. They’ve taken victories with Marco Bezzecchi who has left the outfit for the Factory Aprilia Team. For 2025 they retain Fabio Di Giannantonio and 2017 Moto 2 World Championship Franky Morbidelli joins the squad for the first time.
Fabio Di Giannantonio was unable to replicate his late form from 2023 last season; he rode the Desmosedici GP23 and was unable to step onto the podium, but in Assen he did finish
as the top GP23 so there were some glimpses of form.
However, Diggia suffered a shoulder injury and was forced to sit out the final few rounds of 2024 to have surgery. With the shoulder fully recovered, the number 49 who will ride
the factory GP25 will aim to add to his tally of Grand Prix victories.
Franky Morbidelli joins the VR46 team for the first time in his career despite being the first official VR46 Academy rider signed in 2013. 2024 was a rekindle of form for the Italian
who took a Tissot Sprint podium and was in the hunt for race victory at the San Marino Grand Prix before crashing out.
Morbidelli will ride the GP24 like last season so the continuity should aid Morbidelli to return to his successful 2020 form.
