Toprak Razgatlioglu finished fastest this morning but this afternoon it was Nicolo Bulega’s turn to take top spot.

After a lengthy gap between Assen and Misano World Superbikes fired back into life today with the opening two Practice sessions of the weekend. Toprak Razgatlioglu finished fastest this morning ahead of Alex Lowes and Nicolo Bulega.

Bulega spent near enough all of the second session of the day in top spot in Free Practice Two. The young Italian rider has had a sensational rookie Superbike season and continues his form at home after some small errors this morning.

Alvaro Bautista was outside of the top five this morning but jumped up to second place this afternoon completing an Aruba.it Ducati 1-2.

Remy Gardner finished this session in third place after finishing ninth this morning. The Australian has been the best Yamaha rider this season and has been very consistent. Andrea Iannone finished the afternoon in fourth place, as the third fastest Iannone the Italian rider continues to impress this season.

The top BMW rider was the fastest rider from this morning, Toprak Razgatlioglu. The Turkish rider had a fall with 20 minutes to go and did not venture back out after, but had some front end issues beforehand.

The top Honda was Iker Lecuona in sixth place after setting a decent pace this afternoon and being the top Honda by quite a way. Behind Lecuona was Alex Lowes in seventh place and Sam Lowes in eighth place.

Dominique Aegerter has had a tough season so far this year but finished this afternoon in ninth place. Rounding out the top ten was Michael Ruben Rinaldi in tenth place.

Just like this morning there were four riders outside the top ten again. Jonathan Rea finished this session in 13th, Scott Reding in 19th, Tarran Mackenzie in 20th and finally Bradley Ray in 23rd.
