BSB: Kyle Ryde Signs Two Year Deal with RICH Energy OMG Racing for the 2021 Season

Kyle Ryde switches from a Suzuki to a BMW, joining the RICH Energy OMG Racing Team for his championship charge in 2021
23-year-old Kyle Ryde has signed a two-year deal with RICH Energy OMG Racing. Ryde will line up on one of the team’s All-new BMW M 1000 RR’s for the 2021 season, hoping to continue his good run of form from the previous season where he had two race wins during his time with Buildbase Suzuki.
The Nottinghamshire rider brings a lot of experience to the OMG team, having won championships in both National Superstock 600 in 2014 and the British GP2 class in 2019, he competed in three seasons in the Superbike World Championship paddock too.
Kyle is very enthusiastic about riding the All-new M 1000 RR, preparations have already started for his championship charge for the 2021 BSB season, he feels that once he feels at one with the new bike and team, he believes he will be up at the sharp end fighting for race wins.
RICH Energy OMG Racing Team’s Principal Paul Curran is said to be delighted to have Kyle as a member of their racing team for the 2021 season, as he is one of the championship top young talents, the team are excited to see what Kyle can achieve on the M 1000 RR. Having done the double at Silverstone last season, Kyle impressed a lot of people and he was constantly on the pace throughout the season.
Team Owner Alan Gardner is very excited at the prospect of working with kyle and it confirms how good of a set-up the teams has, which attracted Kyle to sign the two-year deal. The team found the 2020 BSB season to be tough but are hoping to get the M 1000 RR in contention for podiums and race wins, of which the whole OMG Racing Team are very excited about!
RICH Energy OMG Racing Team are in talks with several riders for the team’s second rider, an announcement will be made in due course.
