Stand in Honda rider Ryan Vickers crashed out at turn 14 with 18 laps to go. Bulega was flying at the front with almost a second lead to his team-mate and Yari Montella. Lorenzo Baldassarri crashed out at turn five, another non scoring of points for the Italian rider.

Another solid performance for Alberto Surra running in sixth place. Bautista and Taz Mackenzie were fighting for a top ten finish.
With just five laps to go Bulega had over a five second lead to Lecuona. Bautista passed Remy Gardner to get inside the top ten, next on Alvaro’s list was Yamaha’s Stefano Manzi. Gardner crashed out at turn eight! which promoted Taz to tenth place.
