Luke Mossey Returns To the Bournemouth Kawaski Racing Team For His 2021 Championship Charge.
Cambridge rider 28-year-old Luke Mossey has reunited with Bournemouth Kawasaki Racing for the up-coming season. Both rider and team have switched from the Superbike class to the Pirelli National Superstock Class for their season campaign. Luke was with the Bournemouth Kawasaki Team for four seasons in the Superbike Class, he won two races with them back in 2017 at Brands Hatch. The team took a break from the Bennetts British Superbike season last year to focus on expanding their retail business, but now team owner Pete Extance is relishing the opportunity of working with Luke again in the Superstock Class.
Luke Mossey – Bournemouth Kawasaki Racing Team
Superstock 1000 will be a new challenge for me and one that I am really excited about on the new Kawasaki ZX10RR; we have had a few rides on the 19 RR stock model and I can’t wait to get out on the new bike. Thanks again to the Pete and the team and my loyal sponsors who have stood by me.
Team owner Pete Extance can’t thank all the team’s sponsors enough who have helped to get things going at such short notice. Returning to the Superbike paddock will help to promote the Kawasaki dealership of which Pete has been working on instead of running a racing team. He knows Luke is keen to get going and to prove he has what it takes to battle for the Superstock Championship Title and get himself back on the Superbike grid for the 2022 season.
Pete Extance – Bournemouth Kawasaki Team Owner
He is a talented rider and deserves a place on the Superbike grid, but sometimes it doesn’t work out and he knows this year is going to be an exciting, bar-bashing, tough season in an excellent field of quality riders.
