BSB: FHO Racing BMW’s Xavi Forés Passed Fit To Ride At Knockhill.
By Dawn Hammersley
Xavi Forés Will Return To Racing Action For Round Two Of The Bennetts British Superbikes.
Spaniard Xavi Forés suffered a highside crash at Shell Oils at Oulton Park during Fridays Free Practice Two, unfortunately the result was a scaphoid injury to his right wrist, therefore he was unable to continue with any of Round One’s proceedings. Xavi has been working around the clock to get fit for Round two at the Scotish circuit of Knockhill.
Knockhill is the circuit where Xavi has had good form, where he claimed a pole position and a podium finish back in 2019 when he rode for Honda. The all-new FHO Racing BMW team will be relieved to have Xavi back on board, team-mate Peter Hickman made a very positive start to their season campaign getting a third place finish at the previous round at Oulton Park.

“It has been busy for me doing everything I can to be ready for these next races. Knockhill is an event I have been waiting for because it is the circuit where I got my first pole position in BSB and I also was on the podium there in 2019, so I have good memories from the circuit,”
“Hopefully I can be strong there and my injury is much better. I think the weather will always play a part too, but that is the same for everybody. We had a good test there pre-season and the BMW M 1000 RR already felt good so we need to see how the weekend goes. But I know I want to be back and fighting for the podium in all three races for sure.”
We wish Xavi and the FHO Racing Team all the best for Round Two at Knockhill.
