iForce Lloyd & Jones BMW return for more British Superbike Championship action this weekend, as the championship heads to Thruxton, one of the fastest tracks on the BSB calendar.
The former RAF airfield hosts a blend of long straights, fast corners, and multiple complex chicane sections. With #12 Luke Mossey joining forces with #44 Dan Jones, it should be an action-packed weekend for the team.
Ahead of the weekend, iForce Llyod & Jones’ newest rider signing, Luke Mossey, said:
“I’m really looking forward to the weekend back on a BMW, it’s a circuit I’ve had a lot of success at in the past. We only come here once a year so can’t wait to get out on the circuit.”
Mossey is a multiple-race winner in the BSB class and will look to use his experience to help the team move forward as the season moves ever closer to the showdown.
After another positive round at Brands Hatch, Dan Jones has had a solid rookie campaign for the team and will look to continue it this weekend;
“I’ve only ever done Thruxton on a Moto3,” said Jones. “So it’ll take some learning at first. I’m sure by the end of the weekend, I’ll be where I should be.”
This weekend’s action starts on Saturday at 12:30 with Qualifying 1, followed by Qualifying 2 at 12:49, and then the eBay Sprint Race at 15:40. On Sunday, the riders will get a chance to warm up at 10:50, before competing in the second race of the weekend at 13:30. The third and final race will then start at 16:30.
