BSB: iForce Lloyd & Jones Had A Rollercoaster Of A Weekend At Thruxton.
By Dawn Hammersley
Despite Setbacks At The Hampshire Circuit, The Team Continued To Improve Throughout The Weekend.
#12 Luke Mossey produced an amazing qualifying performance in his first Superpicks 12 for the team in the punishing heat, qualifying 9th with teammate #44 Dan Jones lining-up in P22.

At the start of Race one, Mossey was involved in a racing incident during the opening lap that saw him forced wide off the track, spilling his M1000RR at Club Chicane. Whilst on the floor he was hit by another rider, severely bruising his right arm and was out of action for the rest of the weekend. Teammate Jones made great progress and climbed all the way up to 17th, just two places shy of a points finish.

Luke Mossey
It was a very positive weekend just a shame I crashed yesterday (Saturday) taking avoiding action of another rider, but really good start considering I’ve just got on the bike. I can’t wait to get to Cadwell Park and continue the work we have done this weekend
Moments before Jones was due to take to the track for Race three, a mechanical issue stopped the Welshman from competing; with no time to diagnose and fix the issue, the team decided to err on the side of caution and withdraw from the race, but nevertheless Jones was very happy with his performance.
Dan Jones
It was a positive weekend, I improved massively every session,” said Jones. “We have made some really good steps forward with the set-up, which will help us at Cadwell and future rounds. Thanks to the team and my personal sponsors for everything!
The team returns to action on August 27th, when the team heads to Cadwell Park for Round 7 of the BSB championship.
