Tom Toparis
So happy to end the first weekend of the year on the podium. It was a quick pace throughout the 25 lap race so I was glad to be in touch with the lead group over the full distance.
I’m so proud of my Macadam Racing team for the work put in over the whole weekend. We worked hard, made loads of changes to get me more comfortable on my new machine around Silverstone, and more importantly I feel like I’ve been focusing on learning how I can adapt my style to suit this particular R6 (compared to my bike back home).
Jack Nixon secured a top ten finish in the Sprint Race finishing in eighth place, for the Feature Race the Folkstone rider finished in 12th place. Jack a former Pirelli National Junior Superstock Champion has made the move to the British Supersport class from the Pirelli National Superstock championship.

Max Wadsworth has made the step-up from the Macadam Racing Academy for this season; Max had a 11th and 10th place finish.

Tom leaves round one of the Quattro Group British Supersport Championship in second place, Jack is currently in 10th place, Max is just outside the top ten in 12th place.
Up next for the Macadam Racing Team is a two-day test at Cheshire’s Oulton Park on 12-13 April.
