BSB: Kyle Ryde Wins Race Two at Knockhill.

By Dawn Hammersley
Kyle Ryde claims his first victory at the Scottish circuit of Knockhill.
For race two at the Fife circuit of Knockhill it was an all Yamaha front row, Jason O’Halloran was on pole position, Ryan Vickers was in second place, with LAMI OMG team-mate Kyle Ryde in third place.
Jason O’Halloran lead the field into turn one, that was short lived as Kyle Ryde took the lead. BeerMonster Ducati’s Glenn Irwin was in third place. Danny Kent, Liam Delves and Charlie Nesbitt all crashed out early on in the race. FHO Racing’s Peter Hickman pulled into the pits after a few laps.
O’Halloran was trying his best to find a gap to pass Kyle, the LAMI OMG rider was riding very defensive and wasn’t giving Jason any chances. Tommy Bridewell was catching the leading trio with seven laps to go.
Jason passed Kyle but it wasn’t for long, then Glenn Irwin passed both Jason and Ryde on the start finish straight to take the lead. What had the Yamaha riders got left to take back control of the race. O’Halloran made a launch at the Hairpin but the Australian ran wide which enabled Bridewell to take third place.
Glenn Irwin crashed out at the Hairpin, disaster for the Ducati rider! Kyle Ryde was now back in the lead with one lap remaining to the race. Ryan Vickers was chasing O’Halloran for the final podium spot.
Ryde crosses the line to take his first victory at the Scottish circuit, Bridewell was second with Jason O’Halloran finishing in third place, Ryan Vickers was fourth with Christian Iddon finishing in fifth place.
