Jorge Martin wins his second Tissot Sprint in Le Mans with Marc Marquez in second

Francesco Bagnaia started in second place for his first front-row of the season with Maverick Vinales in third, Marc Marquez was down in 13th after failing to get out of Q1.
The lights went out and it was Martin who took the holeshot into turn one, Pecco Bagnaia had a terrible start and was down in 14th place, Marquez had a fantastic start in fifth and passed Vinales for fourth.
Aleix Espargaro who was running in third place had a double long lap penalty meaning Marc Marquez was primed for a podium spot.
Bagnaia was down in last position having a big moment at turn seven and riding on the outside of the circuit and the world champion entered the pits.
Joan Mir was the first faller of the Tissot Sprint, losing the front on the kerb at turn eight on lap four.
Jack Miller was in sixth place, but started to go backwards being passed by Enea Bastianini and Fabio Di Giannantonio at turn three on laps six and seven with Pedro Acosta passing the Australian at turn 13.
Acosta turned underneath Di Giannantonio at turn six to move into seventh place on lap nine.
Marco Bezzecchi was doing his best ride of the season, running the whole race in second place, but the Italian lost the front at turn ten on lap ten. Marquez and Vinales were now second and third.
Acosta was trying to attack Espargaro but lost the front at turn 13 but saved it and was able to stay on and remain in sixth place.
