
BSB: Moto Rapido Ducati’s Leon Haslam Takes his First BSB Victory Since 2018

Raceways Yamaha’s Bradley Ray was on pole position for race two at Cheshire’s Oulton Park. Joining yesterday’s race one winner on the front row of the grid was Ducati riders Glenn Irwin and Leon Haslam. Bradley has had the perfect start to his 2025 season campaign, could any of the Superbike riders hamper his chances of doing the double?
Lights out as Brad lead the field of 24 Superbike riders into turn one, Storm was in second place, Haslam was in third place.
Leon moved into second place, as Ray was stretching out his lead at the front. Glenn Irwin was riding the wheels off his Ducati motorcycle trying to pass Storm. Kyle Ryde was in fifth place followed by Danny Kent.
Leon was catching Brad after three laps breaking the lap record with a 1:32.817, Kyle made his way into third place. Leon was the fastest man on circuit as the leading duo had over a two second lead to Ryde in third place.
Haslam made his move for first place at Old Hall Bend, he made the pass stick to lead the race. Glenn passed Ryde for third place and was chasing the leaders trying to bridge the gap.
With three laps to go Haslam was still leading from Ray, Glenn was the fastest man on track in third place, Kyle and Storm were dicing for fourth place. Stacey won the battle for the fourth place spot as Danny Kent passed the reigning Superbike champion for fifth place.
On the final lap Glenn was with the leading duo, he passed Brad for the second place, despite a moment at Island Bend Haslam crossed the line to take his first victory of the season, Glenn held onto second place, Brad was third, Ryde finished in fourth place with Stacey finishing in fifth place.
